Jenny is married with three children: Vohn, 14; Angela, 12; and Jaden, 2 months old. With no apparent family history of hemophilia, Jenny and her husband Stan never suspected that Vohn might have hemophilia. With his diagnosis coming out of the blue, acceptance was very hard for their entire family. Stan and Jenny were in denial for months. Almost every night, they’d find themselves waking up and thinking…what could they have possibly done differently to change things for Vohn?

Important Safety Information for Helixate^®FS

Helixate^® FS is a recombinant factor VIII (FVIII) product used to treat hemophilia A when there is a demonstrated deficiency of FVIII, a plasma clotting factor.

Helixate^® FS should be administered cautiously in patients with previous hypersensitivity to constituents of FVIII preparations of known sensitivity to mouse or hamster protein.

Adverse events are generally minor. The most common adverse events include injection-site reactions, dizziness, and rash.
