Meet Katherine

Katherine Spacek is the mother of Brock, 7, who has severe hemophilia A with an inhibitor. When Brock was born, his neonatal team noticed that something was not right—he was bleeding excessively. After a series of tests, Brock was diagnosed with his bleeding disorder. He was two days old. Brock’s parents never suspected hemophilia, as there was no family history of hemophilia on either side.
