Meet Lori

Lori Kunkel lives in Rochester, MN, and is the mother of three boys: Jeff, now 23; Cody, 13; and Brady, 11. All three have severe hemophilia A. Lori had no idea that she was a carrier of hemophilia when she gave birth to Jeff. By the time Lori was pregnant with her third child, she had a prenatal test and found out she was carrying a boy. By this time, she began to worry that her third son might not have hemophilia—how would she parent him if he didn’t?
